Dehmal Vienna Horn ca. 1900.

Before setting up on his own account (1884-1907) Anton Dehmal trained with Leopold Uhlmann, worked at Bohland & Fuchs in Graslitz from 1875 to 1882, and returned to Vienna in 1883 as manager of the Leopold Uhlmann firm.

Uhlmann Vienna Horn (rotary valve) ca. 1870

Leopold Uhlmann became "court (Hof) instrument maker" in 1874. Before that he was "privileged (priviligierter) instrument maker" after his 1830 patent.  The "KK priv" engraving on the Kranz suggests this horn pre-dates 1874.
